Mercury poisoning and leaky gut

I just have a quick question in regards to the treatment of mercury poisoning. My doctor told me I must first heal my leaky gut before I deal with my mercury and amalgam fillings. What is your recommended first step for someone dealing with both leaky gut and mercury poisoning?

You must relieve the mercury burden as part of creating the conditions for the gut to heal itself. If you leave the mercury the gut will never heal. First out come the amalgams. Then comes testing (DMPS Challenge Test) followed by chelation (IV or oral). Then retest to make sure the toxic metal burden is gone (and that includes the other 12 toxic heavy metals). At that point the gut may be healed provided the diet is not loaded with sugars and the gut loaded with dysbiosis. If that is the case the diet must be cleaned up. If not yet healed, then I proceed to the SanPharma remedies. Hope that helps.
