hydrogen peroxide and hot tubs

I have a 500 gallon spa. I use a bromine cartridge for the bacteria etc. but want to use food grade peroxide for keeping the spa clean. can I use the combination? It needs additional booster and I have been using chlorine but don't want to any longer. Can I eliminate the bromine altogether?

Unfortunately, the use of hydrogen peroxide and ozone to maintain disinfection of hot tubs is of limited value. They can be used with chlorine, but the use of chlorine is also necessary, although the amount necessary will be less. (This is precisely why I no longer have a hot tub, even though as a Californian I am totally out of style without one.)
