Recurrent gut infection and mercury

I read with great interest the last post regarding Candida from Andy Manuel. I also read your article on Mercury and Gut Wall Infection. I have suffered from a recurrent gut dysbiosis for 30 years off and on. I am 49. I have used most of the Rx anti-fungals and most of the natural ones and have been "cured" many times only to have it come back after one to two years of relative health. I had my many amalgams out in 1986 but a recent DMPS provocation showed fairly high levels of Hg still there. I have done some DMSA but apparently not enough. I also have hypochlorhydria and recently worked my way up to 8 grains of Betaine HCL as per your article on hypochlorhydria, with every meal and never feel any acid burn at all. Should I take more than 8 grains? I have also had 9 shots of EPD, now called LDA which has seemed to help though I got off the schedule when Dr. Shrader was told by the FDA that he could no longer import the stuff from the UK.

I am very tired of this never ending cycle of recurrence and the SanPharma remedies sound very good to me if it works as promised. However, I have at least 3 times gone off anti-fungals to take some homeopathic remedy that did nothing at all for me except allow my infection to get worse. Does one have to go off Diflucan for instance which I am now taking, in order for the SanPharma remedy to work? Does one have to come to Santa Rosa to get and use the SanPharma protocol and to be treated for mercury with DMSA and Penicillamine (I live in AZ). I am not at all adverse to coming there as I need to put an end to this cycle. Is it hard to get an appointment to see you? Can it be done in one extended face-to-face visit and then follow ups over the phone?

Thanks for a great web site!

As to Betaine HCL, we now have a German preparation which in almost all cases restores the stomach's ability to make stomach acid. I would not have thought such a thing possible only two years ago. If you use BetaineHCL, be aware that the usual capsule contains 10 grains, so if you are really taking the doses you mentioned, you are at very low dose. Perhaps you meant eight caps of 10 grains each.

We should be able to handle your situation with one face to face and the by telephone. I can usually fit a person in within two weeks.

I am glad to hear that the dental amalgam is out and residual mercury is under treatment. You are half way home.

You are correct, I am taking 80 grains.

Will I have to go off anti-fungals to use the german homeopathics?

A doc put me on Sanum remedies some years ago and took me off antifungals and
I went straight downhill until I went back on the antifungals. I'd like to avoid that if possible.

I will call and get an appointment.

Thanks!

You can stay on anti-fungals; I recommend you use only natural anti-fungals however as antibiotics suppress your immune system which is exactly the opposite effect you need for a permanent cure. The SanPharmas will produce a Herxheimer reaction and that must go be endured to get to your goal. The Pekana remedies ameliorate that effect.

I have never had a homeopathic anything produce a Herxhiemers reaction so I see that as encouraging that it must actually work. I look forward to seeing you and trying this new direction. Permanent cure is something that I would like to have in my vocabulary!!

The SanPharma remedies are isopathics, not homeopathics. Because the FDA has no category called "isopathics" the company was forced to label them "homeopathics" so they could be imported, but there are clearly something else. The Pekana remedies are spagyric homeopathics which puts them in a differect class also. I will make these distinctions more clear when we meet.
