urine problem

I have a foul-smell when I urinate. I do not have any other symptoms that suggest a urinary tract infection. The doctor will not prescribe anything until more symptoms persist. Do you think this is a urinary tract infection? If not, how would I treat the problem.

A foul smell does not necessarily mean an infection. Some medications and some nutrients (for example lipoic acid) can produce a foul smell as can colon toxicity or generalized toxicity of many kinds. A urine culture and sensitivity is the test which proves or disproves a urinary tract infection. Perhaps you should suggest that to your doc. Non-pathogenic bacteria can exist in the bladder and produce a funny smell. The best way to get rid of them is a course of Just Cranberry in a gallon of filtered water and an Enzyme called Boluoke (on an empty stomach), all over one 24 hour period.
