Fatigue after meals

Extreme fatigue after meals. Today, at breakfast, ate four pancakes. 20 minutes later, felt lethargy. This happens most often after meals. Something wrong with my digestive system? Am I eating too many carbs?

Could be a couple things. You could have a grain sensitivity to whatever is used to make the pancakes. This is the most likely possibility. Alternatively you could be experiencing a diversion of blood flow to the gut to address the need for digestion, leaving your brain a bit depleted of oxygen. This would happen with every meal of comparable size. You would not have hypoglycemia show up after only 20 minutes, so I doubt this one.
