An aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign lesion in a bone that contains connective tissue and blood inside a thin bony shell and that acts like a tumor and expands the bone. Aneurysmal bone cysts typically occur in the second decade of life and can affect any bone in the arms, legs, trunk or skull. Abbreviated ABC.
