Pay no attention to the propaganda put out by the medical establishment. They have no shame. Vitamin C is perfectly safe in any dose your body can tolerate without producing diarrhea, and it is actually safe at those doses also except for extreme cases of fluid loss. Your body will tell you when you have had enough and it is the cheapest best preventive of heart disease we have. Also, arginine at two grams twice daily over the course of one's life is said to be an absolute preventative of cardiovascular disease. That makes sense as it is the precursor of nitric oxide, the stuff the body makes to keep the vascular intima in good shape.
