Can L-Arginine and L-Lysine be taken at the same time, or should they be taken separately at different times? We were told if they were taken together that one would counteract the other.

They have opposite effects on the herpes virus. (Arginine promotes, Lysine inhibits.) Otherwise they do not counteract each other.
