My friend says I'm dehydrated because I have dry skin on my arms and lower legs. I don't think I am. I've always used the color of my urine as a gauge. My urine is always a pale yellow except in the early morning when its usually a light amber.

Take a pinch of skin on your arm and pull it up off the flesh a half inch or so. The let it go. If it does not pop back down immediately, you are dehydrated. Dry skin does not necessarily mean dehydration.
