gingko and anesthesia

I have been taking daily gingko supplements for 2 months. This morning I had dental work done and had pain during drilling. I remembered reading somewhere that gingko might interfere with anesthesia. Is this true?

Many nutrients, especially anti-oxidants, including vitamin C, aid in metabolizing and breaking down anaesthetic substances (and all other substances as well). Dentists have to use extra doses of anaesthetic in the case of people loaded on anti-oxidants.
