Chin turning dark blue and stomach pains

My 14 year old son developed a dark blue chin which disappeared after a week but still has been very pale and weak for 3 weeks with stomach pain around his naval area. What could be the problem?

Excuse me for thinking of the obvious, but sounds like a bruise. However, I am not rendering an opinion as I have not seen your son. Rest of symptoms could well be a viral illness, but assumptions are dangerous. Find a good doctor for a direct line of sight evaluation (yellow tab, upper left).
