I have enlarged prostate am taking Flomax and a natural combo supplement and would prefer not to take Prroscar as recommended. Is there a reason for my concern and is there another way to get more Flomax and avoid Proscar yet try to shrink the prostate. Or a totally different approach?

I practice alternative and nutritional medicine and I am very wary of pharmaceuticals. Neverhteless, I do not consider all pharmaceuticals anathema. Proscar (finestride) is one of them. Some meds are just plain effective and useful. Proscar is one of them. What exactly is your concern regarding Proscar?
