Chronic Sinusitis and Photoluminesence

I am searching for a cure for chronic sinus infection which flares up whenever I catch a cold. Many years ago I took a flying lesson while I had a head cold. Pressure changes blew the cold into my ears and sinuses. The antibiotics at the time did not fully stop the infection and now whenever I contract a severe cold, my sinuses and sometimes my ears become infected. For several years strong antibiotics would check the infection however they no longer seem to have the same ability. The angst in this condition is that a simple cold is no longer simple. From a simple runny nose, the condition progresses until heavy green to grey and bloody discharge results. It generally causes me to have great difficulty sleeping and even then sleep comes only when sitting up. Decongestants help but they only address the symptoms. Recently I went to the doctor (again) for this and he told me that there was nothing that he could do. He wondered if the cause was allergy. I had allergies when I lived on the east coast but they didn't begin nor feel like this. As a result, I'm generally looking for recommendations for any possible cure and specifically wondered if photoluminesence could help?

This demonstrates nicely the argument which has been going on in microbiology between the orthodox approach which maintains that illness is due to micro-organisms - period - and the alternative approach which argues that the "terrain" is more important. The analogy is to the terrain of a battlefield and just how important it is to winning battles. As every good soldier knows, it is an important aspect of the battle situation and battles are won and lost based on the terrain. What I am getting around to saying is that the "terrain" is you, that is the condition of your body which is apparently friendly to some micro-organism which results in sinusitis. If you are thinking of photoluminescence from the orthodox point of view, that is as if to compare it to an antibiotic and use it to shoot a few bacteria, then the answer is: no, it would probably not be more valuable than some allopathic pharmaceutical pill. On the other hand, if you want to use it as one method among others to alter the terrain so that you no longer have a welcome sign out for sinus bacteria, then it could be very helpful.

My preference is to correct the issue not the symptom. In the case of my sinusitis, my immune system is probably too weak to fight the bacteria and I am looking for a way to strengthen it. How it got that way is another whole (unimportant) story. Since I live in northern California not too far from Santa Rosa, I presume that I can call your office for an appointment?
