blocked carotid arteries and chelation

MRI test tomorrow following a carotid artery ultrasound test and blood test for something or other - perhaps cholesterol. Kaiser suspects blocked carotid artery, perhaps stroke that has disabled left eye muscle from moving in tandem with right eye causing severe double vision incapaciting me fully from driving, severely impaired memory loss, and ongoing stuffiness throughout the head which has always been chronic. This may have been an ongoing undiagnosed problem for some time. Will know better when tests are in. Don't have the reports in yet, but if operation to clear carotid arteries or whatever they do for this is recommended, would you advise the chelation therapy route to see what, if anything, it can do to clear the arteries before or in lieu of surgery.

Whatever else you do, chelation should be part of your treatment plan. If you turn out not to have carotid blockage and yet are in a safe zone - that is without symptoms, I would suggest maintenance IV chelation alone to arrest the process where it is. There are dangers to surgery and I once lost a patient in exactly such a situation as he did not make it off the surgery table when he went in for carotid surgery. As to symptoms you already have which may have resulted from a stroke, if we chelate you immediately, there may be some benefit in earlier and more complete resolution. Call me for an appointment. Bring in all your recent lab studies.
