My question involves the ozone therapy for cancer patients. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma last year. She is 58 years old and has always been in good health. The odd thing about her disease is the fact that the melanoma "started" on the inside of the body and not on the skin. She has always been careful in the sun, had regular dermatologist checks, etc. due to the fact that her sister died at the age of 40 from melanoma. The other rare part of this melanoma is that it is growing around her organs and not into them as melanomas generally like to do. She has been taking chemotherapy and immunotherapy for the last year with little success. The doctors have been focusing on the quality of her life and not on the quantity. We would like to change that. I am curious about the ozone therapy and what benefits it could have on this progressive cancer. Any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing in my knowledge or experience to lead me to believe that ozone therapy is a cure for melanoma or that it significantly extends life. I have heard of people who went into apparent permanent remission with detoxification and an organic raw food diet, but as I live in a state where the medical establishment succeeded in having a law passed prohibiting the treatment of cancer by natural means, I have no direct experience in the matter.
