Apple Cider Vinegar

I realize that you stated vinegar should not be consumed if one is on the anti-candida diet. However, I recently read that Organic Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar is alkalinizing, and so beneficial on the anti-candida diet. Your opinion please?

Vinegar is acetic acid. It is the same stuff you find in concentrated form in Compound W, the over the counter stuff used to burn off warts. It is a little hard to see how it could be alkaline, regardless of source. However, you can test it. Simply buy a little pH paper at a chemical outlet and dip it in the apple cider vinegar. If it turns dark it is alkaline, if it stays yellow it is acid. The explanation for the alkalinity of apple cider vinegar is that it leeches calcium out of the bones. Either it doesn't work, or it works in a way I would not recommend.
