Hot Hands

I have recently been experiencing hot palms. I thought it might be a allergy situation. However, they burn even after I rinse them with cold water. Any thoughts?

Heat distribution should be uniform throughout the surface of the body unless you are in a cold environment in which case your extremities will be cold. Any variation on this reflects an imbalance in metabolism. Metabolic rate is bound to many factors. The most important are the thyroid system, the sex hormone system, and the systems of elimination (kidneys, liver, sweat gland, lungs). General toxicity will dysregulate the metabolic rate and the balance of temperature regulation. There is one other item which I do not understand well and that is the practice of therapeutic touch. People who practice this develop hot hands before they commence a session. This may be some kind of spiritual gift.
