frequent colds

I am a 31 year old male in good health. I take large amounts of vitamins and I eat a healthy diet. I also have exercised 3 times a week for about 2 months. It has also been 2 years since I smoked cigarettes. The Problem is I get colds all the time. I have had a cold 10-12 times a year for the past 2 years. Is that normal? I also have a 2 year old daughter and I get sick more than she does.

We are looking here at the tip of an ice berg. What may lie below the surface is unknown. The best advice I can give you is to have a thorough evaluation by a competent doctor. Such items as hormone balance, digestive function, systemic toxicity (including heavy metals), acidity/alkaliniity should all be evaluated. Your corner GP is not going to have clue about how to evaluate any of this, so finding the right doc is the real challenge. You may want to start by using the Find A Doctor function above. A weakened immune system can lead to illness more serious than frequent colds, so I advise you not to put this off.

I went to the Find A Doctor portion of this site and am not sure what kind of doctor to go to. You said my GP would be lost and I believe that. So what kind of doctor would not be lost?

Your best bet is to select for "Nutritional Medicine" on Find A Doctor.
