Can herpes simplex I erupt after dermatolgical procedures? Can lasering fine lines above the lip cause herpes simplex I to erupt, and do most eruptions look like 2nd and 3rd degree burns followed by scarring?

Herpes simplex lives in lymph nodes for life. They cause lesions only when your immunity dips temporarily. Any stress can cause such a dip: loss of sleep, a bad day at the office, bad food, an argument, surgical or injection procedures. It should clear up as your immune system regains its balance. There should be no scars with Herpes Simplex after healing. If there is scar formation, there is more at work than H. siplex (fever blisters).
