How are the liver, hypertension and hemorrhoids related?

Any disease, such as alcoholic cirrhosis (which blocks blood flow through thte liver) for example, which partially blocks flow of blood from the intestines through the liver (that venous system is called the portal system), raises pressure in that system just as compressing a water hose would raise pressure in that hose. As hemorrhoids are simply swollen veins around the ano-rectal junction and are part of the portal system, that increased pressure swells these veins. When they become noticably swollen and perhaps painful, we call them hemorrhoids. I did not write that very well, but you get the idea.

My nephew, who is 7 years old, has hemorrhoids. Would cleansing/detoxing his liver and changing his diet be a big part in clearing up his hemorroids?

Three questions: (1) does he have diagnosed obstructive liver disease? (2) If not, has this been tested for? (3) Is he overweight?

My 7-year-old nephew is not over weight, he is on the lanky side. He does not have liver disease, as far as anyone knows.

That is very unusual for a seven year old, non-obese child to have hemorrhoids. I suggest you get this checked out.
