Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

I have symptoms of CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). My doctor has been treating me with Prednisone. I am trying to find a substitute medicine because Prednisone has some serious side efects. Do you know of any medicines with less
side-effects?

All disease states can be thought of as disturbance of the normal regulation of body metabolism. The body is made to work correctly and the way we treat our bodies determines if disease will appear or not. Most disease states are re-regulated by the body without much change in lifestyle. Others can be hammered back into some semblance by strong drugs, but with the price tag of side effects. Others are too severe and require deep level life style changes. The best approach to an autoimmune disease, in my opinion, is to re-establish normal digestion and close the gate to the admission of immunogenic foreign molecules. This is accomplished by removal of heavy metals (dental amalgam), oral chelation to remove the body burden of heavy metals, and treatment with the isopathic German (SanPharma) remedies. This all takes a long time, but yields results.
