I'm unsure as to what to look for in a Vitamin C product. Is it L-ascorbate or L-ascorbic acid?

Ascorbate for treatment (URIs, etc.), ascorbic acid or ascorbate for long term prevention (vascular disese, etc.).

Where would I find a picture of a vitamin C & E molecule?

Does distilled water change in it's molecular make up from just plain water? What actually gets removed in the distilling process.
