Bilharzia (Schistosomiasis) (Bilharziasis) Print E-mail

Dr. Kennedy Bilharzia is a parasitic disease of humans, also called schistosomiasis. Three main species of these trematode worms (flukes)--Schistosoma haematobium, S. japonicum, and S. mansoni — cause disease in humans. The disease is acquired from infested water. Also called Bilharziasis.
