Dr. Kennedy Amnesia is the inability to remember. It can be general or specific to a particular event. There are two varieties of amnesia. In retrograde amnesia there is a lack of memory for events that occurred before a traumatic event. In antegrade amnesia the lack of memory relates to events occurring after a traumatic occurrence.
