Food Myth #8:The best way to lose weight is to diet. Print E-mail

Dr. Kennedy Billions of dollars are being made every year from people who are hypnotized by this idea. Millions of tons of fat are being lost by this method even as you read this. However, millions more tons of fat are being regained, even as you read, by people who previously lost weight in crash diet programs. Dieting does nothing for the basic problems, which are: (1) poor quality food, (2) addiction to certain foods and (3) eating habits which do not work. Studies show that of those people who go on crash diets, more than 95% gain the weight back plus additional weight. Never diet!
