Cervical Dysplasia Print E-mail

Dr. Kennedy Cervical dysplasia denotes changes from normal in the cells lining the cervix of the uterus. Cervical dysplasia involves a sequence of cellular changes from mild to severe that are not yet cancerous but constitute the prelude to cancer of the cervix. The diagnosis of cervical dysplasia is made from the PAP smear. The usual mainstream medical treatment is cauterization or surgical removal. A more conservative approach in alternative medicine is to give certain vitamins, if that is not successful injection of a preparation known as Aquasol A in all four quadrants of the cervix. These measures are effective in most cases, but if they are not then the alternative is the usual mainstream "cut, slash, and burn."
